Shut up, and listen. Here’s what you’re gonna do. First, you gotta get Sonic Adventure DX on Steam. Then, you go to the SADX Mod Installer GitLab page and download it. Next you gotta open up sadx_setup.exe. In the installer, make sure you choose the DREAMCAST preset. Don't do DX, make sure it's Dreamcast. Enable advanced options, change the window title to Sonic Adventure, and choose the VMU icon. Install all of the data, open the mod loader, configure your settings, and save. Then, and only then, can you play Sonic Adventure.

They were banned from my server and finally blocked, admitting they did not even want the money back anymore after I told them I didn't even want to pay them more because of how they were behaving and treating me.

Believe who you want, but note that this person has been aggressive and unreasonable.

In the end, they started accusing me of lying, of gaslighting, of emotional manipulation, of keeping money for myself, and of spending it 'irresponsibly' (again I spent it on rent).

So unsatisfied and so convinced I'd never pay them back (despite starting to) they made a callout in my own server.

You can read the messages should you find the post, but as a summary:

-They wanted an immediate full refund which I could not provide because that was rent money
-I tried to compromise on refund over time, this pissed them off a lot
-I STARTED TO PAY THEM BACK, which upset them even more

A couple days before I closed my Twitter account just now, someone made a call-out post for me. This person has accused me of scamming them.

I'll just be clear: I did not deliver a commission for them, and that is my fault. But this person has been hostile and unreasonable every step of the way.

you can read the full thread, but basically one of my best friends is going through it severely. if you know a company looking for a software engineer position to be filled, point her to them or vice versa. otherwise, help her or share it to someone who can. it breaks my heart to see her struggle.

I hate that it's a damn 'maybe' right now, but that's how it's working out. We are working to solve this, and your help has ensured we have the time to do so.

The catch is that we are eligible for support from a rental assistance community relief organization, however while we are eligible, we don't know if they'll help yet. We will at a later date. Until then, I want to stress that we may need help again soon! Maybe!

Update: we're fairly far along now but still need extra boosts. The cost also changed; it was $700, then it was $1000. Blame inconsistent messaging with our landlord. We're about three quarters of the way there, we can make it! Please share and help if you can!
