It would also be really great if people could acknowledge that it is possible to hold more than one thought in one’s head at the same time, and that caring about one thing does not mean you don’t care about another.
This idea that people in academia should obtain increasing amounts of grants/projects (aka money) and then spend almost their entire working time as project managers, instead of studying, teaching and doing research .....well I think it is brilliant only in the eyes of some admin guy
