Not the same album, but Tool took inspiration from Meshuggah for “10,000 Days.” Wound up with a great track, too in “Jambi.”

Now I can enjoy Samurai Champloo. Finally!
What has America not done to another country already? This man is such a fucking ass.
Lewis Tan, I guess.
Tim Sweeney has a reported net worth of $5.1 billion. Just thought I'd share that.
This is like someone realizing non-linear storytelling is a thing and trying to apply it to stories written linearly. Don't be an idiot, haha.
I’m not sure how it would function as an extraction shooter, but I do think that is likely.
Here’s hoping for new content with it!
Long awaited and eagerly anticipated...it was a SiN to make you wait this long.
Colonel John Blade is back to take down SinTEK and save the city in the fully remastered SiN: Reloaded!

Donald Glover as Yoshi feels like when The Simpsons had Jennifer Love Hewitt do Maggie and she only said, “Dada.”
I need this game in my life.
Good shit. I remember asking them last year and they said it was back on the list. Glad to see it happening.
I think Super Paper Mario is very good, but the series never hits that quality again. All of the subsequent Paper Mario games are varying degrees of “okay” to “bad.”
It’s painful all the time to love games and be reminded that most people view them as toys.
The first Paper Mario gets overlooked. In some ways, I like it more than Thousand Year Door. I think the whole concept, though, really came together with that and Mario & Luigi: Superstar Saga. Those are the peak.
I think it asks every time Microsoft changes its TOS, which is likely every six months or so. It's annoying as shit.
There is no way in hell that the next Battlefield is being worked on yet. Maybe in the pre-pre-pre-production phase, but Battlefield 7 (or whatever) shouldn't even be an idea until a year or so out from now.
I know I was pretty blown away by it in 1996 when I was 8, but playing the Switch remake left me wondering what the hell people had seen for over 20 years. You can sleepwalk through the game if you have any competency at all, haha.
I think that sticker is lying to you. That donut doesn't look fat.
I’m not sure I’d call Mario RPG amazing. It has great art and music, but the mechanics are essentially “baby’s first RPG.” It’s simplistic to a fault.
That’s fair. I just don’t know anyone who isn’t familiar with Miyazaki’s stuff,
I saw it blind and came to that conclusion, but I also watch a lot of films and research filmmakers I like. I don’t think the film being more abstract means it didn’t convey its thesis well. It just did it unconventionally.
“Piracy is the most effective form of artistic distribution these days. So be it.”
-Werner Herzog on NPR just now 🔥
You don’t know how often I checked that menu back in the day.
Maybe, but your feelings in the current moment don’t stop happening just because you decided something different. There’s also no other living artist in Japan that is likely to live up to Miyazaki’s legacy, including his own son.
Put Baron on the frontline.
I will die on the hill that Civil War is lousy, lol.
It’s a story about Miyazaki’s life and how he has to make peace with the fact that his legacy will not carry on.
This fucking industry, man. How do you pull funding for Nagoshi Studio right as the LAD/Yakuza series is going into a downturn? NetEase sucks and I can’t deal with Sega anymore. Gah!
