¡Impresionante, enhorabuena! Entre los históricos creo que falta The Population Bomb (y posterior actualización) de Elrich. Falló en sus predicciones pero influyó en el pensamiento temprano sobre límites ecológicos y bienestar social. Quizá también algo más reciente sobre safe operating spaces.

Good news, Altmetric has now started watching BlueSky for mentions of publications. And by the way, provides an easy comparison between this and the old site for a recent preprint of mine which I posted simultaneousl at both. Numbers speak by themselves !

The EU pushes to lower the wolf's strictly protected status, putting political decisions over science ❌

Downgrading the wolf's protection status under the Bern Convention lacks scientific basis & creates a dangerous precedent for nature conservation

The Doñana region Case Study
The Doñana region Case Study YouTube video by NaturaConnect

In the NaturaConnect project we model #biodiversity and develop planning tools to extend nature protection and increase the ecological connectivity in Europe. The Doñana region, a UNESCO site & biodiversity gem, is one of our study sites. @ebdonana.bsky.social

Expert‐based assessment of rewilding indicates progress at site‐level, yet challenges for upscaling Rewilding is gaining importance across Europe, as agricultural abandonment trajectories provide opportunities for large-scale ecosystem restoration. However, its effective implementation is hitherto ...

Very interesting. The conclusions resonate with findings from a Delphi study at rewilding sites.

I guess you refer to the very specific case of bison in Iberian Peninsula. I don't think that calling it a 'harmful invasive species' resolves the debate -I doubt such an argument can be sustained. A different discussion is if the action is justified from a conservation / restoration perspectives

There are different perspectives on what should be the goals of rewilding. A focus on degraded ecological processes and restoring ecological complexity is key (the bison paper does not pay sufficient attention to such discussion). royalsocietypublishing.org/doi/10.1098/...
