I was today-years-old when I realised Bill Watterson was Calvin's dad with a mustache.
A work-in-progress Corellian Light Escort. It's a little late for May 4th, but as they say, better late than never.
It's as if Elrond was on Airbnb. Amazing few days at Living Room Treehouse Wales.

It is a workhorse patrol vehicle employed by Lan Ser Yurkan, the Calisto settlement that won its independence from Beijing in the 2120s.
A work-in-progress that needs some clean-up and texture improvements before heading to Blender Market. The ShΗndiΓ n jiΓ n "Lightning Sword" is often seen patrolling the Jovian transits, keeping a watchful eye on traffic around Callisto and the neighbouring settlements of the 3FO.
A large chunk of stone rests next to a ditch filled with moss-covered rocks. In winter, the ditch sometimes forms a stream that runs through dank deciduous woodland. Beyond the trees to the left is a steep, craggy cliff that separates the valley from houses on the edge of Stannington.
Somewhere below the crags on the edge of Acorn Hill. I love that this and many more spooky secluded spots are fifteen minutes from my Sheffield suburban doorstep.

Playing with Blender 4.3 and True-Terrain 5
The blender render shows some random nature assets, which are badly staged, focused and exposed. And yet, it has that feeling of reality. You can hear the bees buzzing and feel the prickly heat on your face.
The term "game-changers" is massively overused. HΓ₯vard Dalen's Blender add-on, Lens Sim, is a game-changer. Here's a quick test with the 59mm F2 Helios-44. I'm looking forward to learning how to use it in anger.
Off to play

The Sunday after Giles and Jackie's wedding, taking a walk along the front in Scarborough. A sickly glow lights the coastline as typical November weather prepares to seize the day.
Scarborough 2004. I can't believe that was twenty years ago!
One of the few people worth staying on Twitter for is now here. π ππ
That's likely to be the smartest thing I'll read all day.
