Also do i just come on here once a year to post goals or sth wtf

I have so many podcasts to catch up on

Goals for 2026:

- stop being a gremlin
- become an actual functioning human being
- do something
- anything
- get back into art/langs/dming/hobbies
- literally anything at all
- uhhh
- idk
- life is hard

I gotta do some goals for 2026 I think uhhh

(yeah ik I'm a week late for new years resolutions but isn't it a thing you're more likely to succeed if you start late or sth? Sure I've read that somewhere..)

I have a long-running list of surprising eponyms, and in this dark time I wish to share my amusement with you.

To clarify, an eponym is something named for a person. “Newton’s Laws” are called that for Isaac Newton. A surprising eponym is just that.

Random language generator says no

Considering adding a random language just for January ngl. Seems like a bad idea on the surface (too many languages!) but I did a one month dabble once with Korean and it was super fun & interesting. Might be the spark I need to get back into things.

I've been thinking about this poem by Langston Hughes recently and although it was published in 1931, it remains relevant as ever.
