Trying to stay hopeful, but worried about where we all are and getting angrier every day. Starting to cuss a lot. Discovering hobbies that make me happy, like gardening and woodworking. I have two full time jobs - my regular one and caregiver to my mom.
It’s absurd to me that we’ve cut off foreign aid to other countries because “they need to help themselves and be self sufficient- we have to take care of our own and can’t spare a dime,” yet at the same time, let’s bomb away and cause chaos to “free and liberate you.”
Happy Saturday morning… just wonderful to wake up and read news that we’re starting a war with Iran. President of Peace, who would have thought? I guess the silver lining is I can finally flip the bird to the HOA and just start throwing wildflower seeds all over the neighborhood. 🌻💣💥😭

Looks beautiful! My mom’s been making up stories about old photos or people/incidents that never happened. I’m learning not to correct her in most situations. I appreciate seeing your posts and I relate to your struggles, I’m wishing you and your mum the best in this New Year. We need it!
There’s so much hate and saltiness in the world right now - I appreciated the post. I didn’t see it as self aggrandizement but rather sharing the feeling of kindness. 🤷♂️ I don’t know, I choose to see it that way.
