My cherished hometown-adjacent pinball arcade is doing a VERY FUNNY special event for women and nb players highlighting only machines that have women in the artwork; if you are familiar with how women are typically depicted on vintage pinball machines you may be able to sense some irony there
Deal!!!
My hometown pal Maggie who is one of the wisest and funniest people I know correctly identified that grad students are the worst because they are always saying βI donβt have TIME for thisβ :(
Adding βplaying bass in a power pop bandβ to the list of things I am allowed to do once I graduate

The world is going to hell in a hand basket but the benefit show I threw together raised $752 for the print shop

I only became aware of him because the movie Poor Things is an adaptation of one of his books! Lanark is supposedly his magnum opus. I liked aspects of it very much! you'll see why this post in particular made me think of it if you check it out.
Have you read Lanark by Alasdair Gray?
I havenβt had bangs since two thousand FIFTEEN and am SCARED
