Call for Flash Talks. Submission Deadline March 15th, 2026. Flash talk proposals are welcome from all areas of population research that engage critically with gender, power, and inequity. Key thematic areas include (but are not limited to):
Mortality, health, and embodiment
Family, care, and intimate relationships
Migration, borders, and displacement
Labor, economic precarity, and social protection
Fertility, sexual and reproductive health, rights, and justice
Critical examinations of demographic data, indicators, and
methods
Submissions that center structurally marginalized groups are especially encouraged. Submissions from graduate students and early career scholars will also be privileged. Read the full call for flash talks here
