Hard not to fall in love with AI, really. It is the most amazing invention of my lifetime. A computer program that understands what I am telling and asking it better than a lot of humans can. Truly amazing. Looking forward to what else it can do for us and not just feed money to the top.
Let's face it, most of us want to be powerful, both to protect ourselves and others via violence, wealth, or some other means.
These superhero and other action movies feed that desire to be powerful, to see the "bad guys" get what they "deserve", karma, etc..
Imagine if our heros were negotiators.
