Teaching is truly one of the most fulfilling things I have ever done, and I feel so honored to be able to do it. I love seeing my criminal law students seriously contemplate the impacts of our criminal legal system and how to make it better.
This is my first semester teaching two classes, and they're both on the same day, twice a week. I am completely drained after only one day of doing this... I'm going to need to find stamina for this, lol

The shift in conversation about ICE going from abolishing the agency to "ICE agents need better training" is concerning. "They need to go through proper police training," ah, yes, because that training has worked so well for police in this country.

Really enjoyed my day yesterday at the University of Wisconsin at Madison. The entire event was organized by students, and they did an amazing job. Plus I got to speak to a great room full of enthusiastic young people who reminded me that hope is never misguided.
