There was one street cat
We are watching The Night Agent and apparently everyone in TΓΌrkiye closes up and goes to bed before the football has finished
There is absolutely no one outside at all after dark (and thereβs a football match on)
So very confused
When men's workload is automated, it's genius; when women's workload is automated it's a character flaw and morally questionable.
move slow and repair things
It's not that AI is useless.
It's that AI is useful like asbestos was useful.
Have got the latest Evil Coldβ’οΈ from work and am currently trying to remember when I had my last paracetamol
I know I meant to have some around 10.30, but have no idea if I did or not
Last couple of hours have not been fun. I think thereβs an Alien trying to burst out of my sinuses
A roundish robot sitting on the floor, with its banded legs splayed in front of it. Its mouth is shut and its cheeks are puffed out or filled. Various lumps and bumps on its surface make it appear as if its interior has been packed with stuff.
464) Storagebot. Look after your precious things with this robot whose gullet is an interdimensional gateway to a pocket universe that is pleasingly roomy. Just administer a slight tickle to retrieve a possession. AKA Bot-of-Holding. #SmallRobotsRemastered
Iβll teach you how to embroider on Saturday via zoom if you like. Pay-what-you-can.

When my parentβs dog was getting old, he had heart problems and was pretty much deaf and blind, other dogs (or people) surprising him could have killed him!
And people still got annoyed when asked to keep their dogs (and children) under control
These are exactly the films that it made me think of!
I had a great time with it, really liked the leads and Neeson seems to be enjoying doing βcomedic-grumpy-arseholeβ roles
Took a while for the audience I saw it with (probably around 25 people) to realise it was ok to laugh though
I bough pizza on the way home from work!
Itβs a been a long week, and this is my weekend off so there will be a lot of sleeping, eating and reading
The annual turf war between the crows and the seagulls has just kicked off here
Could have done without having to see them all fighting over a dead pigeon though
Itβs too early for that sort of thing
a barnes and noble display of emerald fennel movie branded copies of WUTHERING HEIGHTS. the sign over them reads: "It's Wutherin' Time!" -- Heathcliff
thought you probably needed to see this
Itβs been 3 hours and thereβs no update, are you ok?!!
Knees and shins have loads of scars
And I still remember how I got some of them over 40 years later
This is why I only have an βunofficial clinicalβ diagnosis. They gave me homework after my first apt!
Which I also had to get Mum to fill out (who also probably has undiagnosed brain-weasels) and she lost it three times
Cold Storage was a fun way to spend a couple of hours after a training course this morning
Watched Cold Storage this afternoon and weβre about to start series 2 of Paradise
Seems this is a βunpleasant things happening undergroundβ kind of Monday
Wasnβt sure about the Predator soap opera family stuff at the start, but it was actually an interesting way to explore belonging, honour, and finding your own way
Spoilers continue
The appearance of the Power Loader on Steroids - brilliant
As someone who comes at Predator stuff more from the Aliens crossovers (comics etc) seeing Weyland suffering their usual βdeath by misadventureβ was very satisfying
Spoilers below
Was surprised at how much of an impact the death of the weird snake thing had
And the βleg jokeβ made me very happy
Predator Badlands is a lot of fun
Not quite sure how I feel about it as a straight Predator film, but it was a great way to spend a couple of hours
The dragon heard someone disturbing their hoard. Looking in, they saw a knight checking a bejewelled sword.
"There you are! May I buy this?"
"You have a sword," said the dragon.
"It's for a valentine!"
"A sword?"
"What better gift to give?"
"Hm. That one is blunt. I'll find a sharp one."
This is great!
Next short film idea?
I joked that it would be very funny if Kazakhstan ended up winning, after the first couple of unexpected falls and, in the end, it was utterly hilarious and wonderful when he did end up with gold
The ice skating has all gone sideways in the most satisfying way!
The guys that everyone was proclaiming as βguaranteed medal winnersβ started falling on their arses and
the little guy from Kazakhstan looked absolutely stunned as he went from surprise medal winner to GOLD!
