You are welcome! I had to keep dipping in and out, listening to time-checks, to find the segment, so thought the slider reference would help. Jeremy Bowen put so much of whatโ€™s happening in context.

My sons would look after a friendโ€™s rabbits whilst the family was on holiday. Parents brought round the hutch, food etc. to our garden. My boys enjoyed this, but it was enough to convince them they didnโ€™t want their own rabbits. Do you have friends who could give you a โ€˜trial runโ€™?

Socks Are Not Enough Mike Swarbrick's life couldn't get any worse. His pervy best friend gets him embroiled in a scandal involving the girls' changing rooms, his idiot brother

Itโ€™s out of print now, and an older read than Charlie and Me www.marklowery.co.uk/socks-are-not-enough/

Primary libraries pledge includes converted cloakrooms and corridors Treasury has committed to ensuring that every primary school has a library by 2029, but these facilities could include former โ€˜storage spacesโ€™, Tes can reveal

In light of the Govtโ€™s pledge to provide a library for every primary, Caroline Roche, Chair of CILIP School Libraries Group argues thereโ€™s a danger of a โ€œmissed opportunityโ€ if the focus is more on physical space than staffing.

Almost Nothing Happened by Meg Rosoff. The pink cover is illustrated with the Eiffel Tower, a couple dashing along on a scooter, a dog and a bag of money, someone playing the oboe and other items featured in the book.

After a dull exchange trip to France, Callum decides to see what Paris has to offer. This madcap adventure would make a fun tv show #KidsBooksFriday

In so many tv thrillers where people on the run go to safe houses, or the central characterโ€™s apartment, I donโ€™t hear much of the dialogue because Iโ€™m yelling โ€˜Close the damn curtains!โ€™ at the tv.

I always feel so sorry for the poor tight-lipped person dealing with a huge queue and no help in sight, or when they vainly keep ringing the bell to no avail.

A long time ago, a meeting was convened in the school I worked in (no current staff were involved) about whole-school reading/reading for enjoyment where I only found out about it afterwards (ditto an author visit)
