I wanted it because it is supposedly good for music production, but I tried a number of times and couldn't even get an install to work. On a clean modern PC, how hard can it be?
Ive tried a few times and the whole Linux world seems to be more about choosing and maintaining a Distro, rather than actually doing anything with it.
It also means that for any problem you can find 100s of solutions online, all different, the majority useless
