They do this to break the will of the people, trying force surrender. They also do this as a means of ethnic cleansing.

He hates Zelensky. He hates that Zelensky stood up to him when he tried to extort lies about Biden. He probably saw in Zelensky someone who had much more internal strength and honor, and ever since then he's been trying to destroy him.

I read yesterday that the one responsible for the synagogue was doing it in retaliation to the bombing in Lebanon. We can and must expect backlash from actions of both the US and Israel. They are inextricably connected in the minds of those impacted in the region.

Reminiscent of 8 wars ended that someone else has claimed. Seven offers to buy now from Bezos. What is it with these grandiose claims of achievement?

Needed this reminder of the beauty of nature today. News is as bad as ever, yet Nature provides a view of a better future.

It's the spend it or lose it end of year blow-out. Apparently this happens every year as they close out the books, and realize they've not spent their allotted billions, so they look for quick ways to churn through our hard earned tax dollars.

Of course he wants this to advance, because he thinks that will guarantee his senate seat in the next election. With hard work and mobilization on the ground, Dems will need to do all they can to ensure he loses and they turn Texas purple, on it's way to being blue.

Using the link in the post will take you to the Bonfire website, and scrolling from there you will see the different options - each supporting a different initiative supporting Ukraine. I did verify via Trustpilot that the site is safe, legitimate, and the service was excellent.

I picked up a Hornets Long Sleeved T-shirt via Bonfire, and I love it!. Excellent way to support this cause as well as getting a nice shirt too. Together we'll give them the support they need to finally kick Putin out, once and for all!

Reading this post today, wearing my Wild Hornets long sleeved shirt from Bonfire - great quality shirt - and very necessary group to support, today more than ever before.

Same tailor as trump, he too has foam filled shoulders to make him appear to be more robust than nature allows.

Many of the advantage plans are worse and cost more than getting care directly from Medicare. A more nuanced approach is needed in this case, an evaluation of plan costs and benefits vs what can be purchased direct from Medicare.

historically trumps comments about the cards show a growing weakness with Putin - a desperation on their side to force Ukraine to submit. The strength of Ukraine lies in their ingenuity with munitions, low cost-high impact, and the unity of their people to overcome every hardship.

US media have stopped reporting on Gaza. Years of positive reporting for Israel and negative for Palestine, and too many think Palestinians deserve what they get. They think the people of Gaza can just leave and find a place to live elsewhere. Or that they are all terrorists. It's maddening.

My thoughts are that bird flu is an opportunistic illness and takes hold when bird populations are stressed by weather, lack of food, lack of native shelter, etc. Locally we've seen it take hold in flocks pushed out of native habitat, yet other flocks with safe habitat appear to be healthier.

Why if so many countries are labeling this action a genocide, is there nothing that can be done for force the distribution of food, shelter and medical care? why are we forced to watch this slow moving killing of hundreds of thousands of people? Bomb Iran but coddle Israel?

Yes he is - he's mad because Spain said trump broke the law when he started the war with Iran, and that they would not allow the US to use their base(s) in Spain to fire rockets toward Iran.

Poor pup, scared and probably really hungry - hope it ends up positive for all of them. In times of war, it's always the innocents that suffer the most, but those same innocents will be the first to embrace a new start when the war finally ends.

I did read this morning a quote from trump where he pushed back on the notion that he gets easily bored with things like this - claiming we're in this until we reach our objective. Since there is no real objective, the war could end without any day now.

For that I am grateful. Russia doesn't have the resources to do anything more than hang on for a little longer against Ukraine, and China appears to be nothing more than a Paper Tiger, blustering into the wind.

A pleasure to meet you as well! We are thinking along the same lines, and fortunately there are at least a couple of senators and house members that are also looking in that direction.

Epstein was a diversified criminal. He engaged in schemes to make lots of money, he found ways to extort compliance from political leaders. This gave him the power he needed to make sure any investigation in his more sordid crimes would always be sidelined.

Why have there been no reports of attempts to deface these eyesores. Does no one have a small drone that can shoot ink? Or mini flamethrowers?

Why does this not get more attention in the media? I've read so many articles about tourists being detained for weeks at a time - for no reason, then quietly deported back to their home country. All have the same story - they were happy enough to go, but they were kept in jail for weeks instead.

I'm confused with the importance of mentioning that Collins gives them the 50th vote. I thought they needed 60 votes to overcome a filibuster. Is this no longer true? Are they not going the route of the filibuster?
