Yesterday in Numeracy we were exploring division by sharing. We spoke about how each group had to have equal amounts and used the idea of sharing sweets between our friends to help us picture the concept! We had some star workers who were super keen to share their understanding on the board! ππΌπ€©

Today we analysed the results of our germy bread experiment! After carefully examining the bread, we came to the conclusion that bread touched by unwashed hands has more germs and mould than bread touched by clean hands! We were so shocked that some of the bread still had no mould 10 days later! ππ¦

Yesterday we had fun role playing as Doctors and patients! We applied our knowledge of different diseases and worked together to diagnose our patients as they shared their symptoms! We were then able to recall steps to take to help our patients get better! π€π·π€§

Today we started our week long investigation into germs, where we will be monitoring the difference in fungus growth on a piece of bread touched by washed hands versus unwashed hands! This will help to show us the importance of handwashing to get rid of germs! ππ¦ π
