For #digitalArtHistory fellows looking at ways to study #art #circulation we just published "Greater Aura? The 19th and 20th Century Circulation of Art Reproductions in the Press through a Digital and Historical Perspective". We analyzed which images circulated internationally between the 1880-1960.

Finished few days ago wind and truth myself, i am gonna reuse some of these recommendations! If you didn’t read it yet, i would suggest you give a try to jade city! 3 book series, very well written characters, lots of politics and it flows spectacularly well. Although only a fantasy (not high)

We are building one (expect in Jan-feb) for french with two colleagues, using it to try to establish the temporal and spatial dimension of the textual content. Happy to share it, but the corpus is only theatre plays for now (and in tei)

such as protests and accidents, was mostly absent, with the exception of satirical publications. Only few images (less than 50 out of a corpus of 5000 extracted from in 185 journals published in 45 cities between 1891-1950) contains incidents
The iconography of the car in its early days is particularly interesting. If written sources tell us a lot about the protest against motorists, images tell us something different. By collecting and extracting images from the press, it is easy to notice the preponderance of positive representations

Great initiative by the Rijksmuseum. They continue to be a leader in open access within the museum/heritage world. Data is represented using #linkedart (application profile of of #cidoccrm)
Not really about code or decision, but in the text/markdown editor world iA Writer 7 introduced an authorship function that can dim the text if pasted by a llm (Info here: ia.net/writer/suppo... )
