A piebald dachshund stretched out sound asleep on the Big Bed. His front legs and head are buried under a Purdue fleece blanket. The rest of him is out for thermostat control.
When you need a blanket because you are a dachshund but you live in Phoenix where the temperature hit 90F.

I’ve found ducks in the most random of places. Kids take them everywhere to play, but, low value toys aren’t often looked for. Friends have brought me ducks their kids found on playgrounds, I got one when several teams moved to a new building at work. My boss grabbed it for me. 🪿

I found a duck on Kiernan’s walk this morning! No idea why Chandler Code Enforcement has ducks or why one was sitting atop an electrical transformer over by me but it’s mine now.
He wanted a nap. I learned on Friday he’s beendoing the same to his caretaker on work days. CT works nights. K cries while he cooks breakfast. The second CT is done eating, Kiernan runs to the blankets on the couch and begs again, ready for their morning nap. #SleepyLittleJerk

I had a terrible time getting him to settle the last 2-3 weeks. He was terribly fussy and much whinier than usual. Poor pup must have been in considerable pain. Now he’s back to his usual self.
Kiernan is doing so much better since getting that infected tooth out. Neither I nor the vet knew the pocket was there until they put him under. It went all the way up into his sinuses, packed with grass and oozy stuff.
