I'll tell my ex that I'm sorry and I hope he's happy. I'll tell a family member that I miss them and wish things happened differently. It feels so real like they're actually there with me. I guess I appreciate the dreams because I can pretend that I had a chance to say what I needed to.
Sometimes it's family, sometimes it's one of my cats, sometimes it's an ex or a friend I had a falling out with. I've never been able to accept the fact that not everyone is going to be in our lives forever.
