Tapped into my unconscious mind for the first time in what feels like years
And inside myself I find a broken child with untended fears
Giving thoughts and prayers to an endless void
Facing the consequences I couldn’t avoid
An Angel who’s equally as tainted, divine in the purest form
Reflects the memories in which I thought had been torn
Screaming “get ahold of yourself” in the mirror
Only to be met with her screaming back at me
Realizing we were no longer speaking to ourselves drew us nearer
And this endless purgatory built off isolation and reflection allowed me to hear more than I could see
When disorienting thoughts flood my head faster than the words that fall from my mouth,
I realize the endless, chaotic, fuzzy feelings are so much purer than that drouth
And when my body phases through the glass,
Floods of ecstasy course through our veins
Adding onto the never-ending mass
Of the love that after all these years, still remains
