In South Philly there used to be a huge fig tree that you could just go up to and collect all you wanted. For reasons I don’t understand the city cut it down. Maybe the fig growers association didn’t like people getting free figs!

Cute! But when the daggers come out they become weapons of mass destruction!

Can you just pick them off trees? I remember picking some in Granada but some older guy came up to me and said they are no good, “not like the ones in Valencia!” With a sigh. 😹
