Maybe they’re retired and can see all day? I am not fast and I’m doing it among a million other things so projects take a few days at least

I just did an inventory of the patterns I want to sew and what fabrics I have for each one. There are 19 different items. Clearly my sewing dreams far exceed my time to sew - I have enough to keep me busy for probably a year.😂😂😂
I’d love to be added to the garment sewists list!

A make from November that I just photographed - the Cozy Jacket from Aina Sewing Patterns. Boiled wool in orchid with a fun lining fabric from Stone Mountain Fabrics. Love the oversized fit and warmth!
A set of upholstery pins with a price of thirty nine cents - any guesses to what year these are from?
Found this set of upholstery pins in some sewing notions my grandmother gave me. Note the price of .39 - let’s play a game and guess what year these are from? For a bit of context, my grandmother will be 100 in June(and still sewing!)
You can change a setting to require alt text before posting! To make it easier to remember
*immediately adds this dress to my sewing wishlist *
Woman in green and oatmeal maxi dress
Pattern testing this week for Eloh Patterns (not on BlueSky yet!) - this Lunar maxi dress is giving me summer vibes in cold February
Either!
It’s still way easier to thread than most manual thread sergers.
I bought mine from a sew n vac store/repair shop locally and the owner said the Vibrant is a great machine - with the more expensive models you’re paying mostly for the air threading tech
I have the Baby lock vibrant, their intro one and it’s really great! I use it all the time
Favorite summer t-shirt/top/tank patterns? I prefer boxier but open to any suggestions!
I saw a tip to print in portrait orientation instead of auto and it made the process so much faster! No cutting! I did a 60 page dress today in half the time
The Ilford pattern is on my sewing wish list too!
Yep, that was my thought too. Clothing with lots of ease and more easily altered I’ll just go for it, but not pants I decided
Nope, went with a toile! I have some gorgeous corduroy from Merchant & Mills and I don’t want to waste it.
I’m Erin, I live in North Carolina with my husband and 5 year old son. I learned to sew as a kid from my grandmother (99 and still sewing!) and started sewing again in earnest a year ago when I paused my career in education to be at home with our son for a bit.

To toile or not to toile? I’ve done a practice fly zip but this is my first adventure with hard pants. Thinking a toile is the better choice here. #sewsky
Thank you! This has been a wonderful way to quickly connect with other sewists
Would love to be added to this list!
