Itβs arrived! Our book is now published & just got the hard copy. Proud of this work with my co-editors Robert Adam & Stacey Steen (Webb) featuring 22 chapters from different countries.
As you can access articles & the library remotely I said this year I have to make an effort to visit campus more as I find too many distractions at home, putting on a load of clothes, cooking, cleaning etc. I went to one of the campus libraries and got so much done. Have to keep this going. #PhD
I know I would have LOVED to have been there but IOCN was representing for the rest of us! They raved about you. Hope you are well. Hopefully we can arrange something soon

Good morning I thought now is a good time to introduce myself. I am a British Sign Language Interpreter and part time PhD student. My research is exploring the lived experiences of BSL interpreters of colour (BSLIOC) in the UK. Hoping to make new connections here βΊοΈ
Sign languages are not universal. Just like spoken languages, they are tied to specific people and places and are not nutually intelligible. To date, over 200 independent sign languages exist across the globe (and counting).
Another Sunday and another day on PhD study. #PhDstudy.
