I had the opportunity to talk to Senator Schiff in an online forum about this threat. He said this warning was sent out in February "before" the attack on Iran. While it elevates California defenses, there is no imminent threat. I'm passing this on.

The sane people of the US have been saying the same thing since 2017.
I am clearly skeptical of these reports from the FBI. California has been one of the blue states singled out for harassment by ICE and other funding cuts. This could also be an attempt to further harass blue states...especially with the No Kings Day protests around the corner. Fear porn possibly.
hmmm...that's a reach. I would want some further validation of this threat because it would be very difficult and it's a loooooooooong way from bases or iranian ships. On the other hand, I have seen Iran sources putting out fear porn propaganda.
