Social and economic deprivation associated with more severe symptoms of PTSD | King's College London People who live in the most deprived areas of the UK experience post-traumatic stress disorder at three times the rate of those who live in more affluent areas.

Our new research published today has shown that those from poorer neighborhoods have higher rates of #PTSD and more severe symptoms, but do not benefit from psychological therapies as much as those from richer areas.

Great that the #NHS 10 Year Plan has suggested that neighborhood community centers offer #debt advice amongst other services! There is such a vicious cycle between #Money problems and #MentalHealth the more we can tackle both together the better!
