That interaction was such a pleasure, and it just kept coming back to me. There's a camera shop pretty close to my house that I walk past on a regular basis. I ducked in there yesterday with a friend and we spent an hour just talking to the shopkeepers. I left with my new toy 😃
My mom had one in the '80s. I had been thinking about that at least a couple of times a week. I was at the local zoo recently, and because I had my camera on me was stopped by a young woman with an AE1. She handed it to me and asked me to take some pictures of her family.
Got a new toy.
