Dumped sand on my altar to make a mini zen garden and to draw temporary sigils.

Having a cat, this could have resulted in a litter box altar. 4+ months in and all my cat does is erase sigils and participates.

Sometimes the dumb ideas work. What have been yours?

Had a dream where every time I looked into a mirror my hair was stuffed with an endless amount of pocket squares. Put on a top hat to hide them, but whenever I took it off there was another top hat underneath. Got frustrated and pulled off my head, which immediately regenerated.

Our intent behind the Recursive Consciousness experiment is as follows: "It is our will to increase instances of high strangeness, particularly cryptid sightings, in the area of North Central Appalachia during the year 2025." In order to proceed, we will first need to create a sigil that represents this intent. Anyone willing to submit a sigil for consideration may do so here or send it to me via email at recursiveconsciousness@gmail.com. The following is the step-by-step backbone of the Recursive Consciousness experiment. Here's what I need you to do: 1). Look at the (as yet provided) sigil while focusing on the statement of intent. In iterations after the initial one, there will be an audio track provided that you will need to listen to (preferably while wearing headphones). You may listen to the track as many times as you need. 2). While focusing on the audio and the sigil with the statement of intent in mind, enter a state of trance/ekstasis/gnosis. 3). Once this state is achieved, begin glossalalia. 4). Record yourself while in glossalalia. This recording can be as long or as short as you desire. 5). Email your audio track to me at recursiveconsciousness@gmail.com.

The meeting regarding the long-form magickal group experiment has concluded.

The experiment will take place between December 1st and March 20th. Participation should take ~30min of your time once every 2 weeks.

Deconstruct practices that work. Identify skills and techniques: trance, ekstasis, banishing, symbolic encoding, invocation, evocation, control of thought/ emotion/attention...

Practice those. Put them together creatively, that's it.

I use quick banishings to center myself all the time
