I agree if you google Bauer fly-x breaking it seems to be a issue for others as well
Yeah i was looking on there they just had the same Bauer steel for his size. We are getting the holders replaced under warranty next week to see if that helps
Ladies and gentlemen, Friday the 13th
I was looking at blade tech blades, but dont feel like buying another set of steel. I have 2 sets, but a second set after the first break. Thanks but he’s a size 212 (1.5 skate)
Yup right in the middle. We bought the skates in august. The holders have a 1 year warranty so we are getting those replaced next week to see if that helps
These blades aren’t cheap, dude is 72 lbs. they shouldn’t be snapping like dry spaghetti. I’ll be avoiding Bauer going forward
In early Dec the blade on 9 year old’s skate broke. The blades were 20 days out of warranty and Bauer did a solid and replaced them. Since then 3 more blades broke (under warranty) on him including 2 this past weekend in 1 game. Bauer response now “hockey is a rough sport, things can break”
