Annoying, but (since I like to give too much context) as a designer I notice this often breaks down to:
1) The owner(s) of the business wants to feel like what they do has some kind of meaning.
2) Google cramming the internet into the shape it wants it to be.

That's good! I think being curt gets the point across, and you'll be a lot nicer to them than the backers (and the public) would be.
If Discord does a hard AI push I cannot imagine how badly this will go for them. I cannot see a way for this not to punch a huge hole in their stomach that money will start falling out of. I told them this in my survey reply, I hope they'll listen.

The only thing you need to be stressed about is being stuck between a gfuel tent and an ai anime girl. I think you’ll do great! Everyone I spoke to last year said they were doing alright, even with all the news at the time.
