Six cedar raised beds at night time. The first two have an arch covered in string lights. In the back there is a mural of two girls wearing flower chain crowns surrounded by flowers — one is giving the other a kiss on the cheek. The raised garden beds are prepped for planting. This is a downtown community garden project so the lights from buildings surrounding not as seeping into the frame.

We added string lights to our arch at the downtown community garden. I was feeling a bit overwhelmed by the upcoming growing season; but just spending time in the garden has calmed my anxieties. One day at a time. Now to organize planting days 🌱❤️ #communitygardens #gardeningtogether #locallygrown

A blanket scarf of bright little squares of woven fabric with twisted fringe. They are blues, purples, oranges and reds. The fabric is draped on a lawn chair in a back yard with long shadows from morning light.

This and a good book would be my vibe today — but I’ve got kids in sports so I’m at an arena instead. Ha! Blanket scarves make excellent little blankets for in between spring hockey games … find a little patch of grass and enjoy the sun 🧶🙌❤️ see all my weaving in my shop — link in bio 💕 #weaving

Can anyone direct me to the weaving/crafting/artisan supporting side of blue sky? Help me — I’m a maker and I’m new here. Do hashtags help or make things worse? 🤷‍♀️ #weaving #albertamade #canadianmaker #handwoven #shopsmall

Yesterday I was going through photos to make my mom an album of her grandchildren. I chose to span the last 15 years and in the process of searching I saw every project I have ever woven. Thousands of meters of fabric over the course of my motherhood. Interwoven. This is my most recent batch.
