When someone tells you their business is generating "seven figures," it's totally fair to ask between which figures the decimal point appears.
I read a lot of complaints on LinkedIn and elsewhere about how silly the job-seeking process is: Filling in three different forms with the same info, general lack of transparency about salary/benefits, etc. I'm interested to read the explanation of WHY it needs to be like that. Who's defending this?

Ultimately, this is the way. And it still does not necessarily preclude the idea of offering premium content at a cost. But the danger of keeping vital information paywalled while letting venal misinformation roam free is now incredibly evident.

This SNL skit from last night name-checks my hometown’s O’Reilly Auto Parts. Between this, Chappell Roan, and that story a couple years ago in WSJ about Bass Pro trucker hats becoming a celeb fashion accessory, the Springfieldification of America is now complete.
Sad. For 2,300 people, they could play at McDonald Arena and put a super-nice (and probably fairly lucrative) parking deck on the Great Southern Bank Arena site.
