The image depicts a majestic scene of a powerful, bearded figure resembling a divine being, radiating light from behind clouds. He extends his hands toward icy cliffs, pouring streams of golden energy that appear to melt the ice into cascading waterfalls. Below, the text reads, βGod melt Ice,β with the word βGodβ glowing warmly and βIceβ rendered in a frosty blue style.

βAdvocacy is not just a task for charismatic individuals or high-profile community organizers. Advocacy is for all of us; advocacy is a way of life. It is a natural response to the injustices and inequality in the world.β
Alice Wong , Disability Visibility:
I donβt know what there will be a service to honor @sfdirewolf.bsky.social or notβ¦ But if there is, I would hope thereβs a way for me to go to an in person. And honor herβ¦ but if not, I hope we can have an online memorial.
Iβve got to take me a walk in a little bit and think about Aliceβ¦ But also realize that weβve got to pick up the mantle even more.
Rest in power, Alice⦠We will pick up the mantle from here!

This image is a humorous meme featuring Velma from the animated series Scooby-Doo. Velma is depicted on her hands and knees, searching for her lost glassesβa classic scene often associated with her character. The overlaid text reads, "My subtitles. I can't hear without my subtitles..." This is a playful joke comparing the reliance on subtitles while watching shows to Velma's dependence on her glasses to see, highlighting how many people feel they "can't hear" well without subtitles because theyβve become so used to them.
The image features a bold, white text on a solid black background. The text reads: "Mourning is okay... but fight like heck at the ballot box!"

Every home should be designed for total accessibility since, over time, all residents may need it. Creating spaces that accommodate future needs is essential.

Do you hear the people sing?
Singing the song of angry men?
It is the music of the people
Who will not be slaves again!
When the beating of your heart
Echoes the beating of the drums
There is a life about to start
When tomorrow comes!

Naming names so you can call them if they are your rep and let them know this ain't it:
Rep. Al Green stated, "you have no mandate to cut Medicaid," reacting to the misrepresentation affecting millions. Ten Democrats joined in censure against him. How can we save Medicaid if we can't even support someone brave enough to speak the truth?
The best remedy for those who are afraid, lonely or unhappy is to go outside, somewhere where they can be quiet, alone with the heavens, nature and God. Because only then does one feel that all is as it should be.
