Appreciate it, thanks!
Absolutely love 510-Pyro, zero complaints. It's worked beautifully on everything I've tried, from Kentmere 400 pushed to 1600, Delta 100, FP4 at box speed and 200. Just a really outstanding developer for me.

Couldn't agree more
Thanks! It's nice to add a bit of human for scale sometimes. Something I'm really not used to doing.
Another #35mm shot I'd have never got had I only been carrying the 4x5.
I've captured some awesome landscapes with the large format but I doubt I'd ever be able to catch something that evokes this kind of feeling.
HP5 to 800 and dev'd in 510 Pyro for about a half hour

I've been sticking with 1:100. I ventured up to 1:200 once but wasn't sure it was worth the additional development time, or if I noticed much of a difference.
I pretty much stick with 1:100 out of familiarity at this point. The tech data sheet has all the N times I need to Delta and FP4 as well
Been developing my FP4 in 510 Pyro and couldn't be happier with the results. The two seem to get along incredibly well
And it's incredible
Incredible. Really great work, Randy, you really captured the hell out of that gas.

View of Cannon beach and Haystack Rock with the scene cut by a tall dune with tall grass
Cannon Beach looking very pretty on HP5 pushed to 800
Thanks so much for the kind words, I really appreciate it!
Dang, that is so cool
Thank you very much!
Really appreciate it, thank you!
Thank you very much! Honestly, yah, it's really something else in person, if I may say so myself.
Thanks, much appreciated!
Really pleased with how this came out after selenium toning.
11"x14" on Ilford FB from a 4x5 of Ilford Delta 100
I'd do better to share more than a cell phone picture but here we are

Love to have the last bit of 8x10 kit just chilling in a "regional distribution center" after almost two weeks of international shipping

Outstanding ๐
This is literally like finding out about a party I wasn't invited to
Several silver gelatin prints toned with selenium on top of an expandable window screen I got off Amazon on top of two Rubbermaid totes...are those totes? tubs?
Selenium experimentation complete
They look so nice until they curl up like dead bugs once they're dry

Out here flattening prints in Adidas slides just like Ansel used to
It's honestly embarrassing that I never made this association.
I had everything so segmented and compartmentalized that I never considered the value of having both in tandem.
Not only is it not mutually exclusive, it's beautifully complimentary.
Real big fan of smaller film.
I'm certain this topic is not a revelation to the #believeinfilm crowd, but it's something that, if I ever knew, I had forgotten since immersing myself in large format photography

Mat, you hero, you. Thank you very much, I'll start there.
Basically I have some prints I screwed up in the darkroom on my way to a final print so I've got some awesome learning opportunities stacked up in my office ๐
Much appreciated, as always!
Hi #believeinfilm friends, specifically those with selenium toning experience.
I have some prints on Ilford multi grade fiber glossy I'd like to tone enough to see some visible changes in color as well.
What would be a good dilution and time just to start with, do you think?

Congrats, Tom, that's one hell of a project!
Also a reminder for me to complain less about my incomparably tiny scanning sessions
