I helped a πͺ°today; it was inside on the window and not very active. I watched it for a bit thought about its lifecycle, its role in its short life and how it could end behind a closed window. So I gently picked it up by its wing and put it on the ledge and it sat there. Then it flew away.

Feels like this food fact is widely underappreciated: the world reached βpeak wild fish catchβ in the 1990s and ever since then the continuing global growth in seafood demand has been met by a very fast-growing aquaculture sector, which now puts more farmed seafood on our plates than wild seafood.
