Right. Seems like it could be a Pandora's Box I wouldn't want opened where licensing fees could be levied on every step of production and distribution, and used to destroy platforms that gamers actually like such as Steam.
Maybe I'm dumb, but what does Valve have to do with whether a game has the rights to certain music besides just taking them down, and it sounds like they are talking about games that DO have rights to the music? Are they just trying to double dip on fees?
