Along with all these, I hope that there will be more studies examining how archival science and records management principles can be adopted in matters related to personal data protection.
I hope that this work, in which I have tried to draw attention to the importance of folder integrity in managing this process, will be helpful to practitioners.
In some organizations, the process of protecting personal data is carried out by partially moving away from records management principles. However, the protection of personal data is one of the processes of records and archives management.
I endeavoured to contribute this significant work with the article titled "The Effect of Folder Integrity on the Evidential Value of Records: A Review of the Personal Data Protection Legislation and the Decisions of the Personal Data Protection Board".
The Workbook on the Protection of Personal Data, edited by my dear colleague Gizem Gültekin-Várkonyi and Kübra İslamoğlu Bayer, has been published. Thank you very much for their efforts.
