I prefer standing up. There is some good standing mats, that makes it easier for the feet.
Chairs, then I have used to Embody and Aeron. I get similar problems with my neck and shoulder on both.
Recently bought a Varier Variables. It has made big improvements on my shoulder and neck problems.
