Off the top of my head, in the sweet/biscuit aisle, our co-op has Hersheys chocolate, Reeces peanut butter chocolate, m&ms, Oreos, churros... I think the availability of US junk food, previously only heard mentioned in films and TV shows, has been steadily increasing here over the past few years.
The UK Government claims Universal Credit and minimum wage changes will address child poverty. But Joseph Rowntree Foundation projections show that only Scottish Government policies are making a positive difference and reducing child poverty.

A dearly loved English friend of mine moved up to be closer to her daughter who'd married a Scot. Both mum and daughter struggled to understand why Scots might want independence before they moved here. I'm happy that my pal is closer and delighted that she and her daughter are now pro indy.
