Four men who will forever be inextricably linked, and through the Royal Road style blessed the wrestling world in a way that should never be forgotten.

@warrocketajax.com I regret to inform you that Kill La Kill, while kind of being a deconstruction/parody of anime being overly objectifying and for creepy pervos, is definitely still for creepy pervos
Fuck off with YouTube algorithm-ising the subscription tab. That's the entire rest of the site, let me have this one page I'm begging you.
I will die slightly annoyed that both it and Perpetual Grace didn't find enough of an audience to avoid being cut short
My heart breaks to hear this friend, sending strength and love to you and yours.
Does feel like a "we have loads of friends in the company" hire
That holding penalty probably just saved the gambling industry $1b+.
The over hitting
Walker TD
Walker 100+ & TD Boosts
Amusing because he hasn't even played particularly well
Alas true. But I will never forget what they took from us.
Would be a time so well suited to have never having gotten rid of the rankings.
Had a good time with Marvel's 2005. House of M, the Pulse, Brubaker Cap and Ennis Punisher MAX a stellar quad of titles. Feeling slightly ominous about how I may enjoy 2006 though, as I have firmly not been a Millar/JMS/Jenkins guy and they seem to be getting handed the keys to the universe.
Littler getting my hopes up he might go out early, only to inevitably crush them
Match I felt I must have seen a different version of to everybody else --- of the year
World went decades thinking of McConaughey as "just a RomCom actor". I bet if Id watched it in real time his performance would have blown my mind.
One I think I'm going to be happy to leave the memories alone with, knowing the reputation of the later seasons
Yeah. But I guess the beauty of it being an unconnected anthology is that I can just stop watching now and not poison the memory with subpar follow-up.
Harrelson has such an incredibly difficult balancing act that the entire show teeters on, asshole and likeable, brave and weak, a man you want to see get his comeuppance and also get his redemption. All the comedic relief, but can't undercut the tone. And he's perfect.
What a fucking show.
Loved Andor, think it peaked just as high (the prison break, the Ghorman massacre both as good as TV gets), but wasnt quite as consistent episode to episode imo.
Hit the end of True Detective S1. Went in with impossible expectations, and it still surpassed them. Everything is perfect. The opening. The dialogue. The music. The cinematography. As well acted a season of TV as has ever existed.
A show you immediately know is going to stick in your mind forever

Look... I said I feel dumb
Watching True Detective s1 for the first time, and feeling very silly for not realising 'Time is a flat circle' guy from the gifs was aged up McConaughey and not a separate character/actor
It had the nice side effect of being the exact type of program my parents love to watch, so nice to have that shared experience, although must confess I did get a shade tired of hearing how every single actor was also in Shetland.
Dept Q is a very well made season on TV, which is always a pleasant suprise for Netflix.
And the long list for my 2025 Match of the Year. Thus concludes my 2025 media thread.
My 2025 Wrestler of the Year (Most Outstanding if we're talking Observer definition)
#1 - Kyle Fletcher
While he has his slight flaws, loves an undersell to lean into more go-go-go style, there was nobody I enjoyed watching more consistently than Mr. Pink
#2 - Konosuke Takeshita
#3 - Hangman Page
