SEM is excited for this yearβs keynote lecture in Atlanta, Georgia, with Jacqueline Cogdell DjeDje on Saturday, October 25: βThe Fiddle/Violin in African American Culture: Meanings and Associations.β Dr. DjeDje will be introduced by Dr. Birgitta J. Johnson of the University of South Carolina.
