The funniest thing in any RPGMaker game is when the creator turns a regular NPC sprite immediately into the default pile of bones sprite to denote they’re dead.

Heck of a mood right there. Part of why I didn't want to add super fetish stuff to my game - reason's a big part of it. The easy thing is to make it a simple reason, but the hard thing is to make it sound believable either way.
