I feel like this might be because I’m in the US. I like the idea of it and don’t think it’s bad or weird, just not something I’m used to seeing so I wondered if I’m the odd person out.
Interesting. Most guys I know probably don’t even own a kettle. Im also not younger, I would have been in college 30 years ago too. Are you in the US?
Out of curiosity, how often do you go to someone's house and the host/hostess puts on the kettle for tea or coffee? I find it most peculiar when it's a single guy offering it. I just have a hard time picturing it. Am I just a really bad hostess or is this not really a common thing that's done?
