saya kamitani vs. tam nakano is the first career vs. career match in a major wrestling promotion in three decades, and good god did it deliver.
this may be the stiffest match of the year. these two superstars, desperate to justify their distinct legacies, beat the everloving piss out of each other.
as someone who only got back into wrestling in march, adam page vs. jon moxley is what got me into aew. i'm a squeamish person, but i couldn't turn my eyes away from this war.
insane brutality, magical in-ring chemistry, and a tear-jerking finish to perhaps the highest-stakes match in aew history.
