I am working on something now (I'm actually writing . . .) where a character starts with one name, then admits that his name is something else, so references to him change mid-story. Why do we do things to make writing even harder?🤪

#WritingCommunity How do you people who write poetry keep your sanity? I am not a poet but have been writing some lately, just for practice. I've put in a word, one word, and taken it out four or five times, and I am still undecided on it! Do you finally flip a coin? Guh!
