Millwall are a very physical side with some quality, too. They will be a nasty opponent for anyone in the play-offs. But #dcfc tested them to the max and deserved at least a draw, if not all three in the end

To lose by that score is inexplicable. Hull had three shots on target and scored four goals.
This is why football is the greatest sport ever, but when you're on the wrong end of a result like that, it's beyond infuriating.
That said, brutal truth is, if you defend badly and miss chances, you lose
#dcfc were worryingly tepid at Watford, with no cohesion between the starting front four at all. Until Morris came on, the team lacked a focal point, and there was also no playmaker in the side. Hence we created next to nothing.
Eustace has options, but now he needs to find the right balance.

A well-earned win and clean sheet against technical but toothless Swansea. #dcfc struggled at times in the first half, but scoring straight after the interval proved pivotal. The second made it safe, and the Swans never looked likely to fight back, despite (or maybe because of) their endless passing
Absolutely gutted, as felt #dcfc deserved a point there, and they fought so hard to get back into the game.
Ipswich have a strong mix of quality and dark arts, which should see them promoted automatically.
Credit to Josh Vickers, whose two great saves kept Derby in with a chance.

Adding Szmodics on loan was some bonus! Eustace must be buzzing to have a player who scored a hatful for him in 2023/4 at (where else) Blackburn.
Derby have some serious firepower now - especially if Morris can get back fit this month. Potential for an exciting partnership to develop there.
Deadline day frenzy in full swing. For me, if #dcfc are able to announce the left back signing, they've had a good window. Anything on top of that would be a nice bonus...
Nearly every Championship team picks up most of their points at home - the average is 56.5%. #dcfc buck that trend, with only 40% of their points earned at Pride Park.
Norwich, Blackburn and Sheffield Wednesday have earned lower percentages of their pts at home, but also have much lower pts totals.

Delighted with #dcfc's progress in clearing house during this window. I wasn't expecting this many of Paul Warne's signings to be moved on, but it's great that we've managed it.
Hopefully now, we will be able to bring in a couple of new players by deadline day - top of my list would be a left back
Reports of interest from Toronto and Corinthians (IIRC!) have gone very quiet now, so it seems like he'll be completing the season with #dcfc. Eustace clearly has unshakeable faith in him, and will continue to play him as long as he's here. Let's hope he can sustain his recent flurry of end product.
Per Dutch reporter Jesper Langbroek, #dcfc are set to sign Burnley winger Jaydon Banel on loan.
The 21 year-old joined the Clarets from Ajax last winter. No buy option in the deal for Derby. Clubs in Spain, Germany and Belgium were also interested.
