Such a tiny middle finger!
My lab has tried!
Wow! Sorry this happened to you! I take my dog out every day too. Allows me to recharge and see the beauty in the world and think about all that we are fighting to protect.
Us either but with a hardcore Bear's fan living under our roof, we signed up for a 30 day free trial of Prime which we will cancel this morning.
Me too!
Huh. Iβd rescue my dog first, then the random person.
As a US citizen, I vacationed in Canada this year to offer my support and to enjoy its beauty. Crossing the border into Canada was easy but trying to return to the US, we were met with a nasty border guard who gave us a hard time about not having some new form for our dog. Kindness is needed!
Me too! I shop local and enjoy being in relationship with all the shopkeepers. So nice to be away from all the wasteful amazon shipping boxes! And despite what many folks think, Amazon doesn't have the cheapest prices...many times they are much more expensive and counting on folks to not do research
Escaped to Canada for an early fall camping trip last month. Beautiful people and countryβ¦wish we could be better neighborsβ¦
Yes itβs good to keep up with what is happening in this country. But no, itβs not good to allow yourself to get overwhelmed by it all. Nature is a great antidote to all the grief you may feel. I had forgotten that.
I did the same this past summer. Spent 10 days circling Lake Superior while visiting Canada. Beautiful country and people!
Despite all that has been done to her, Mother Nature still decides to get out of bed each day!
I texted and asked them but have yet to hear back. Will let you know when/if I hear.
My sister and niece, first in line for the Bernie and AOC Oligarchy Tour in LA today. Arrived there at 4am PT.
A break in the rain today offered an opportunity for a fog shrouded walk here on the mountain. Beauty shines even amongst the clouds.
Trump is finally βwokeβ as he rolls back climate change with his recession producing tariffs. Less goods produced means better air quality, less resource extraction and cleaner water. The natural world celebrates which allows me to make peace with one part of the destruction F47 is causing.
My beautiful girl. Waiting for a walk, a pet, or a treat perhaps?
And participating today, surrounded by 2,000+ other protestors, along with thousands of cars that drove by honking and waving, felt oh so very good!
Was not trying to offend or explain the idea of protests, just explaining that they are the only power we have left, but I can see how what I said may have been taken the wrong way. I have not lived with injustice but certainly come from a place of trying to learn from those who have.
Exactly what I was gonna say! Not spending any money in trump's economy, only buying food and gas.
Thank you Cory Booker!!!
Love wins!
This morning, while out with my dog, a nuthatch called to me from the trees while the first rays of sun caught the ridge above me. These voices and views drowned out for a moment what is happening in the human world and brought joy.
I wonβt be offended by that comment at all. I myself donβt want to live in trumpβs racist & misogynist country. But neither do many, many others who voted blue. We are all standing up and fighting!
We are not just watching. We are protesting in huge numbers. Just today there was a rally of 34,000 people in Denver. And many, many more protests are happening all across the country. MSNBC is showing all the protests. We are standing up as we hate what trump is trying to do to our country.
Ha! I would NEVER be caught in a red hat or anything MAGA or Tesla related.
I live 90 minutes from Canada and was wondering about this. Iβd much rather vacation in Canada and spend my money there than the U.S. Will Canadians look at a U.S. plate with disdain though?
As an American who voted blue, I agree with you and how we ended up here.
As a northern Michigan resident, I can say that many are fed up with Bergman and are out in force doing letter writing campaigns and protests in opposition to him. The town hall that he is skipping will have 350 people packed into Miliken Auditorium in TC and countless others joining online.
