I've set up a cleaning and organizing schedule for their room, including daily, weekly and monthly tasks. It's a bit challenging to keep their room consistently tidy every day, and on the days I don't check, it's a bit chaotic. With this system, they should be able to manage it more independently.
I haven't been very consistent with following routines in recent weeks, and naturally, if mom isn't following them, neither are the kids. We're setting new foundations for 2024!
It was the school holidays in France, and the kids had a fantastic time! They went to a ski school and enjoyed various other activities.During this break, I also reflect on how to better support them.

Mais non je te promets , la vraie charge c'est celui qui essaie pas de s'améliorer dans son travail et fait pas d'effort. Tu vas être opérationnel très rapidement parce que t'es comme ça, tu te remets sans cesse en question et tu veux être efficace et utile . T'as le bon mindset ! Crois en toi 👍👍👍
La melatonine, ça peut aider dans ce cas là 😭 j'en prends ponctuellement quand je fais de l'insomnie. C'est naturel donc on a pas la "gueule de bois" d'après les somnifères, et ça n'entraîne pas de dépendance. Courage en tout cas !

He is now in his third novel. He reads faster, stays focused for longer periods, and is less afraid of tackling larger paragraphs. The goal is to read one novel/month.
I am incredibly surprised at how much the environment affects his hyperactivity

It worked. He read the 90 pages of the book with enthusiasm and focus because the theme of the book interested him, and he enjoyed the football references and illustrations. This motivated him in his football training as well.
He loved cooking the cake and was very proud of his accomplishment
He doesn't like to read, but he loves football, is a big food enthusiast, and enjoys cooking for others.
This translated into:
1)A football-themed novel (Captain Tsubasa in novel form)
2)A nightly 15-minute reading routine
3)A football-themed cake celebration when he finishes the book
My 7-year-old son, who has ADHD, doesn't enjoy reading. So I made an experiment, about children's motivation, especially those with ADHD:
1)Provide a context they enjoy (for short-term motivation).
2)Offer a reward related to their interests (for long-term motivation).
3)Establish a routine.
