Sharing our article on how people with #eatingdisorders experience social media #algorithms. Timely with the children & social media ban talk, but we found people with EDs used social media also for self-care but algorithms encouraged wandering and bubbles. More user control needed, also for adults!
Sounds excellent for someone studying eating disorders. Wonder how this applies to promoted content? The platforms are completely ruined by the random, cliched rubbish.
