Ooh, this anti-aliased brush looks really nice, although I would still say it can go either way and you should prioritize whichever one you enjoy using more

I like the lettering! Should be more uniform in height though
Yeah, leather and denim jackets and vests with a wing motif are absolutely a classic, and it could still have 3d wings. I think of this eagle jacket from a 1977 skit
It WOULD be cool, but my fear is it might kind of take me out of the 80s setting unless I could find an example of a similar harness from then. But also that's me being too concerned with "realism" in fun fantasy stories.
Oh my god, thank you for pointing it out, I missed it but I love it
I like it, I think it's cool to include shit like that just in general but also reminds me of a few people I knew or admire who had it ✌️ go MS rep

Jack Cole was so talented and seemed to only get better as he went along too, really inspiring tbh
It's packed full of new wave greats, I have no idea why it's so obscure when most of the performances are also on Youtube. My dude Skafish crimally underrated... but I would give anything to see Klaus Nomi for the first time again
Kanopy has Urgh! A Music War and every 80s freak should be watching
She also has funnier roles in Best in Show and Waiting for Guffman, highly recommend, but I'm not sure where they stream
Was almost torn between posting this one and A Kiss at the End of the Rainbow but really... you should just go watch A Mighty Wind. it's on Youtube
this looks insane, great work!!!

let's go sailing!

This is why I'm only really into the original Jack Cole stuff, and don't see eye to eye with fans of the same character who know him from more recent DC works instead 😓
I forget where I read it but someone said modern creators completely missed what made Plas work: He was the straight guy reacting to the craziness around him. When you make him overly zany it either falls flat because it's not actually funny or it wears thin fast. He's not supposed to be The Mask.
You really do lose a lot of the character when he’s in those team books precisely because the nuance of “Woozy Winks is the silly one, Chief Branner is the serious one, Plastic Man ends up being in the middle” is just gone.
lol I do read them eventually, I haven't done this but it sounds like a fun idea. Trevor especially...
WOOZY!! I love this, the pose and the look on his face lmao

I LOVE THIS IDEA. yes pleaze

good to see you 🙏
I've been thinking about this because I want social media to be boring. I don't want it to draw me in to spending more time on it I just want to see what my friends are up to
'What they think they're like' and 'What they're actually like' is such a great distinction to make on a character sheet
What the hell? I wasn't even invested in this and I'm still disappointed
It really is fantastic stuff. I was about to start telling my friends all about it but I realized I could write whole essays about how well thought-out every page seems... I could be making my own comics instead if he inspires me so much!!
Happy Birthday Mr. Cole!! such an inspiration to me, glad you reminded me it's today 🎉
