Behold my latest personal fascination: Music from the PC-98 and X68000 computer systems. Japan-exclusive from back in the 80's and 90's, they featured similar soundchips to the Sega Genesis (Yamaha chips!) and they give me a sense of nostalgia I didn't know I had.

Overall it's been pretty fun! Been mostly playing Journey Mode to get the achievement for it, but the stuff I've seen so far is pretty neat. With all the new blocks and such, I might see myself doing a megabuild sometime in the future!

Greetings! As a long-time DQ player, I have much knowledge of the games, though DQX is one of the outliers there. So maybe watching you play it will be educational for me!

Disgaea 5 Complete. Definitely the most fun on a Disgaea game I've ever had. The characters are fun, the grind is a good one, and it still has all of the nonsensical humor you would expect from Nippon Ichi games.~

Dragon Quest 1 & 2 HD-2D Remake. The third one is up there along with these, but these two stand out as wonderful remasters and remakes of their respective games. DQ2 especially needed that extra facelift, and it shows they put a lot of care into it!

Skies of Arcadia Legends for the Nintendo Gamecube. Originally released (sans the "Legends") on the Dreamcast, this wonderful, whimsical, and surprisingly deep RPG has plenty of wonderful elements to it.~
